NeramIQ 2.0 introduces a live campus model that mirrors real-world state — rooms, teachers, periods, and attendance — updated in real time.
What is a digital twin?
A digital twin is a real-time virtual model of a physical system. In manufacturing, digital twins mirror factory floors. In NeramIQ 2.0, the digital twin mirrors your campus: every classroom, every teacher, every period, every attendance record — updated as events happen, not as reports are filed.
What changes with a live model
When Mr. Kumar marks attendance in Room 12A at 8:05am, that information propagates immediately to the Command Center, the attendance summary, the parent notification queue, and the analytics engine. There is no manual aggregation step. There is no end-of-day report. The campus model is always current.
This enables a new class of decision: not "what happened yesterday" but "what is happening right now and what should I do about it."
Technical foundation
NeramIQ 2.0's digital twin runs on a WebSocket event bus with sub-100ms propagation across all connected clients. Events are persisted to an append-only event log before fan-out, ensuring consistency even under network partitions. The campus model is rebuilt from the event log on reconnect, so clients are never permanently out of sync.
